15 March 2016: Cheese and Tuna Pasta bake

Ingredients - Servings 6


  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.

  2. Preheat oven to 220 C / Gas 7.

  3. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix pasta, onion, 1/2 of the cheese, peas, tuna, soup and mushrooms. Transfer to a baking dish, and top with crushed potato crisps and remaining cheese.

  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is bubbly.

Messy Church cook's note: We fried up onions, leeks and mushrooms first, then added all the other ingredients - and also added one tin of milk for each two tins of soup. We also added sweet corn in addition to the peas.
