PCS is a professionally run independent and confidential counselling service. It was founded in 1987 as an initiative of the Churches and caring professions in Petersfield.
PCS is administered by a Management Committee drawn from caring professions in the community who provide professional advice.

All counsellors have undertaken professional training to at least Diploma level. In addition we offer placement to carefully selected students who are in the final stages of their Diploma training.
All counsellors are required to attend regular supervision with trained Supervisors as well as ongoing training to ensure that professional standards are maintained.
PCS abides by the Code of Ethics and Practice of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. PCS is a Registered Charity - Number 298408. We rely on donations from the local community.
