The Royal Wedding

As marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman there is no distinction between the backgrounds of those who are marrying - all are equal in the sight of God.

Prince William and Princess Catherine will encounter the same joys and difficulties as the rest of us - I have been blessed with 54 years of experience. There is the joy of having children and seeing them grow up, but the worry when they become ill or will not conform.  There’s the love of being together and sharing with each other, yet at times differences of opinion might cause frustration even anger. The Royal Couple will need to be honest with one another and remember to express their love for each other and openly discuss their anxieties before they fester.

Marriage has to be give and take, but as long as they have faith in God and in themselves they will be able to overcome any difficulties in their lives. Those problems may be more taxing for them in their role as members of the Royal Family than for the rest of us, because, as we all know, they will be constantly in the limelight.

Surely all will wish this charming young couple every happiness and success in their future lives together and may God bless them and guide them at all times.
