Easter Day 2015

About 40 members of Petersfield Methodist Church and Life Church Petersfield gathered by Petersfield Pond at 6:15 am on Easter Day to celebrate Easter Communion.

The service was led by Rev'd David Rice who also provided a fire basket which provided a welcoming light at the start of the service and on which some fish was cooked at the end. People enjoyed fish in rolls and coffee at the end of the service.

It was an overcast morning, with a little drizzle, but our hearts were lifted by the wonderful sound of the dawn chorus as we walked through a dark, deserted town at 6:00 am. The water birds on the pond were not so tuneful but provided a charming backdrop to a moving service.

If you have any photographs of the Walk of Witness, Easter Day Services or any activities undertaken during the Lent Courses please email them to the PACT webmaster and they will be displayed on the web site.
