We were blessed with a warm and sunny day - a big difference from last year when it rained!. The walk followed the traditional route from the Methodist Church in Station Road, down Lavant Street then through Ram's Walk to The Square.

The service was conducted by Rev'd Richard Saunders, vicar of St Mary Magdalen, Sheet and the Chair of PACT for 2019. The reading was undertaken by John Callaghan of Life Church Petersfield and Rev'd Josh Thomas of the United Reformed Church gave the address. Captain Linda Read of The Salvation Army provided the prayers.

Music was provided by The Salvation Army band. After the service people were invited to stay for tea, coffee and hot cross buns in St Peter's

The walkers stopped twice for readings of the Passion story, once in Lavant Street and again in Rams Walk.

Together we turned and faced outward towards the town and we
blessed Petersfield saying:

And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with us all, with those we love
and with everyone
in our town and community
now and for ever more
