Remembrance Service in the Square, Sunday 10 November 2013
The Remembrance Service was led by the Rev'd Will Hughes, the vicar of St Peters. Brilliant sunshine blessed the day and there was a good turn-out for the service.
Platoons from Quebec Company, 10 Training Battalion of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and a platoon of Royal Marines from 30 Commando led the parade. Representing the younger generation were members of Petersfield Air Training Corps, Churcher's Combined Cadet Force, Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, Beavers and Rainbows. Also taking part were the Salvation Army band and British Legion veterans.
